As you can probably guess, my enthusiasm for blogging has waned. Well, fear not, I'm not quitting, just scaling back a bit. Since my last post, I've been in South America, skiing lots (we have some of the best snow in the world here in western Canada), and have been dealing with the soap opera which is often called my career.
Buenos Aires was awesome, I'm definetly going back to Argentina in the future, hopefully for a longer stay. Stay tuned and I'll post the link to our Flickr site for our photos.
On the work front, one day my company's been sold, the next day the deals gone, the next day I'm fully prepared to be laid off, then the next day the company says everythings fine. According to this pattern, I should be laid off tomorrow. Either way, it has sucked royally. Especially this week, because I've been getting rides in to work. The logic behind this is that if I get canned, it sure would suck to try and haul all my crap home on my handlebars.
Okay, enuff of the crappy shit, now to what's important. Skiing pics from Bow Summit last weekend. Sorry Andy and Dave, this is gonna hurt. Conditions in the Rockies are un-freakin-believable. So much snow and an unbelievably consistent (i.e. only moderate avalanche conditions). We skinned up numerous times all day and were rewarded with waist deep snow which was completely untracked in places. Here's the photos:
